Animal Print Pretty

I used to think that animal print was super tacky. Now I know that with the right accessories, or even as accessories, animal print can go from super gaudy to super cute! Here are a few of my sets that have made the cut.

Bandage Beautiful

The french designer Hervé Peugnet invented the bandage dress. He made it popular under his brand called Hervé Léger. He was a brilliant designer, and owned a third label called Hervé L. Leroux. Bandage dresses are made with strips of fabric in the shape of bandages. They are very form fitting and usually quite flexible. 

Heavenly Elegance

Here are a few of my favorite elegant gowns and how I would accessorize. They are mostly long and fitted at the hips. Silk is always a wonderful fabric for any upscale affair, but there is a bit of variation here. If you have an event that you'd like me to help you find a dress for and accessorize let me know. Orange Dream

I used to hate the color orange. I thought you'd have to be crazy to wear orange, until I started learning what colors mean and how they affect our minds. Did you know that studies show that people who wear orange are often considered to be happier and make those around them more joyful? When you're having a gloomy day, try adding a little orange to your life. Orange can be fun, flirty, serious, casual, or formal--whatever your style, there's a set here for you!

Cashmere

Cashmere is so soft, and it feels amazing against your skin. It's also warm and allows the skin to breathe. It's perfect for the fall season. All the major designers are using cashmere. It might not be as affordable as I would like, but it is definitely worth the extra money (when I can afford it). Ruffles Galore

Ruffles have made a come-back! They are gorgeous, girly, and elegant. They add a little flare to every outfit, and even the most simple every day garments become a little more fabulous. Ruffles are everywhere--shirts, dresses, pants, and jackets! Since I'm not big on jewelry, I've always loved the ruffle. Ruffles are the ultimate accessory, without all the extra fuss!

Diagonal Zip

I love the diagonal zipper trend. My mother-in-law bought me a hoodie with a diagonal zipper last Christmas, and I was hooked!  Zippers are a practical addition to most garments, making it easier to get in and out of without stretching the fabric. Now, zippers are more then practical, they're high fashion.

Whether it's on a dress, sweater, vest, coat, shoes, or accessory--the diagonal zip is hot!
