Fall is Here

Fall is here, and it's time to dress warm for the chills to come! There are a few accessories that scream fall to me; light scarves, dressy boots, and larger purses. Of course scarves and boots are also worn in the winter time, but it's usually a different kind of scarf and boots in the fall. Read on to find out exactly what I mean...


 







The Scarf
A light scarf, with a beautiful design, says fall. Silk is of course my favorite, but cotton or wool can be just as soft. The autumn scarf is not as heavy as the winter scarf, and is often more decorative. Choosing a scarf with more colors can really tie an outfit together. It brings all the accessories and pieces in sync.

 



The Boots
Some might say that boots are boots are boots, but it's just not true. Winter boots are thicker and heavier then autumn boots. The boots in the fall are usually ankle boots, but winter boots are higher to block out the snow. Boots worn in the fall usually have higher heels, because its just not practical to wear high heels in the snow. 

 



The Bag
The autumn season means it's getting closer to winter and it's time to think about breaking out those hats, gloves, and layers. The best way to carry all these extra accessories is a larger bag; the bigger the better! Lose those clutches and grab those satchels!
